Board MemberBerenika Partum is a curator, art historian and cultural manager. She has worked with a range of cultural institutions, including the Polish Institute Berlin, the Akademie der Künste, the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein and Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History and History from Freie Universität Berlin and a Master’s degree in Cultural and Media Management from the University of Music and Theatre Hamburg. For several years, she worked for SOFA – School of Film Advancement, an international programme supporting innovative projects that contribute to the structural development of the film industries in Central and Eastern Europe. Her curatorial practice focuses particularly on contemporary art from Central and Eastern Europe. Her projects include “Piotr Blajerski: The End” at Literaturhaus Lettrétage (Berlin, 2015); the festival “Polenbegeisterungswelle – Cultural Topographies of Polish Berlin” at Kunstquartier Bethanien (Berlin, 2017); “Ewa Partum: My Gallery Is an Idea. Galeria Adres Archive”, co-curated with Karolina Majewska-Güde at Galeria Studio (Warsaw, 2019); and “Pavel Brăila: Casa Mare” at Centrala Space (Birmingham, 2021). Alongside her curatorial and cultural management work, she is responsible for the current archives of Ewa Partum and Endre Tót. She is the Programme Director of the ARTUM Foundation – ewa partum museum in Poland (www.artumfoundation.com) and a board member of agitPolska – Polish-German Initiative for Cultural Cooperation (www.agitpolska.de).

Krzysztof Gutfrański is a curator and writer whose contextual research practice focuses on alternative education, theory of value, and non-functional thinking in the era of technological change. His recent research for Documenta Institute explored the far-right's co-option of contemporary art in CEE. In 2021, he was awarded the "Weltoffenes Berlin" fellowship offered by the Senate Department for Culture and Europe, with Slavs & Tatars as a host. He was also a fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude from 2019-2020, where he curated a one-month festival for the institution's 30th anniversary. He has participated in numerous research residencies and curatorial endeavors funded by institutions such as Getty, Creative Europe, and the Polish Institute. Krzysztof's practice also involves extensive editorial research focused on exploring media in the era of information overload. He was editor-in-chief of ALTERNATIVA - International Contemporary Visual Arts Festival/Wyspa Institute of Arts in Gdańsk from 2010-2015 and editor-in-chief of Obieg magazine published by CCA Ujazdowski, Warsaw from 2016-2020.

After graduating from a college in Białystok, Poland, with a degree in English, Katarzyna participated in the Robert Bosch Foundation’s renowned programme for cultural managers from Central and Eastern Europe. Through the programme, she secured a supporting role at Filmfest Dresden. She is also an alumna of Atelier Ludwigsburg–Paris, run jointly by the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg and La Fémis. From 2011 to 2019, she worked at Scanline VFX and Automatik VFX, initially as a junior producer and later as a VFX coordinator. In 2020 and 2021, she worked as a project manager at SOFA – School of Film Advancement. Since November 2021, she has worked as a project manager at the Erich Pommer Institut, where she oversees collaborations with Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. Since April 2022, she has also managed various programmes and workshops within the institute’s International Training division. She holds a master’s degree in Modern European History from FernUniversität in Hagen.
